Created in 2016 with one mission – to shake up English sparkling – we make high-quality wines from proudly English grapes. We blend standout varietals like Seyval Blanc, Reichensteiner, Madeleine Angevine and Rondo from trusted partners with our own estate-grown Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. And we craft it all at our carbon-negative (no offsetting, thank you very much) winery in the Kent countryside.
FitzRoy is an Anglo-Norman name meaning “son of the king” (Fils de Roi). Historically reserved for royal offspring who didn’t quite get a place at the official family table. Sound familiar? It should. We’ve got impeccable parentage – English fruit, English winery, English attitude – but we’re not here to play by the establishment’s rules.
We’re the unapologetic pioneers of England’s Charmat (tank) method. The rebels in a world that told us we didn’t belong. Illegitimate? Maybe in their eyes. But we turned that into our strength. While others guarded tradition, we championed innovation – creating sparkling wines that are vibrant, delicious, award-winning and, crucially, made for the many, not the few.
